Homeschool revolution: #DontMessWithMyKids.

No to “Explicit Sex Ed” and “Too Much Too Soon.”

More parents than ever are against public schools and pick homeschooling. Of course, there are many reasons why people choose to homeschool. But today, I will cover the one that made a bunch of angry mama bears and papa bears protect their kids and kick political correctness in its teeth – the SEX ED.

Though my oldest is just turning 4 in a few weeks, I’m concerned because they teach sex education from kindergarten, and my concern is that some of the material is too explicit or seems to be endorsing specific sexual activity. For example, one book, titled “Changing You,” shows cartoon illustrations of male and female genitals and describes what “having sex is” is recommended initially for kindergarten students!

They say kindergarten students can start to learn about gender differences and “challenge” gender stereotypes. By first grade, the teachers begin full-blown brainwashing into the latest versions of gender ideology that children should be told to talk to certain adults about their “gender identity and sexual orientation.”They will do a “welcoming schools” lesson so they can learn how to become an “ally” of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) movement. Before the children even turn 12, they will be encouraged to explore whether they are homosexuals.

WTF?! Let kids be kids!

I can understand why teaching children about gender identity and explaining to them that there is a gender spectrum that is more than male and female but not in kindergarten! One that explains sex to students as young as kindergarten is an assault on parental rights; it exposes children to ideas about sexuality and gender that should be taught at home. Parents should be teaching their children this, not teachers. School has no business teaching kids about anal sex and dental dams. Stop sexualizing our kids! American lawmakers can direct the money they spend on sex ed to other more necessary things.

Moreover, I don’t believe topics related to transgender students’ health have a place in the public school sex education curriculum. Kids who are not transgender could be misled into thinking they need gender confirmation surgery or hormone therapy. Indoctrinating children into believing they can change genders is “child abuse.” At any age, teaching propaganda is wrong.

My opposition is not about homophobia or transphobia but about my desire to choose what my kids learn. It’s not about hate or disliking or anything like that. It’s about my parental rights and what I want to teach my child.

The point here is to push the agenda onto our children rather than educate them to help them be productive members of society. When you get out in the business world, nobody cares about your sexuality; they want results. Teach these kids how to be successful in the real world. Teach facts and health without agenda.
